Here it was I made for dinner last night. Super easy and family friendly. The kids went wild! Oh so yummy. Here is the recipe. INGREDIENTS:
Favorite Pancake mix
2 Tablespoons Apple Pie Spice Divided
3 Medium apples your choice (I used Fuji)
1/2 stick butter
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1/4 cup powdered sugar
Favorite Syrup (although you may not need due to sweetness of apple syrup)
Cut apples into small chunks (skin left on our off). In a small saucepan melt butter over medium heat and then add sugar and 1 Tablespoon Apple Pie Spice. Mixture will start off gloppy but will become syrupy. Add in the apples and let them bubble away stirring occasionally to desired tenderness.
Combine the pancake mix with 1 tablespoon Apple Pie spice. Then follow the rest of the directions on the pancake mix pkg. Cook pancakes.
Top the pancakes with apple mixture and sprinkling of powdered sugar. Top with maple syrup if desired. Enjoy!
