Do you ever get that feeling of butterflies in your tummy? I know I do all the time before appointments, interviews and meeting new people to just name a few. My kids have even said they feel butterflies in their tummies from time to time too. Most of the time, it is before school starts each year, before a test or going to the doctor. Recently, my three year old son started preschool and he was so nervous. He didn’t want me to leave him alone and was afraid to go into the classroom. After what seemed like forever, he eventually calmed his nerves and was willing to let me leave.
It wasn’t until weeks later that I discovered this video by Training Wheels Needed called Butterflies in my Tummy: Charlie’s First Day at School. Oh how I wish I had seen this before my little man’s first day. We could have watched it together and I know he, and myself, would not have had all those butterflies in our tummies.
This video focuses on Charlie and his feelings about not knowing what to expect. Through live action, animation, and original songs he learns that butterflies always fly away. I have to say that this video is really well made. The video last approx. 10 minutes. It was created by two women, one of which was a former preschool owner and was produced with a previous TV producer.
