Quality family time is very important to me. We love to spend time together doing many different things and one of our most favorite things to do as a family is board game night. We have all the classics like Monopoly, Clue, Sorry, Life, etc. But every now and then, we like to venture outside of the box and play newer games that are both fun and easy. It keeps the kids interested and they love discovering new things to play. Thanks to my friends over at PlaSmart, they were gracious enough to send us out a new game to try. And, it was a hit!
This game is called Squashed and it is very easy to play and great for ages 6+. My family sat and played it over and over again. Squashed is a 3D board game forcing you to think in 3 dimensions. The object of the game is to be the last pawn standing on the cube. Each player takes a turn rolling the die and moving the corresponding amount of spaces horizontally or vertically to “Squash” their opponent.
Squashed comes with 1 game cube, 1 die, instruction booklet, 16 pawns (4 red, 4 purple, 4 green and 4 orange), 1 king piece and 1 pad. You can play with 2-4 players bringing loads of fun.
